Terms of use

1. About this site
PC Games Guide is operated by Supra Digital, a small web development agency registered in England & Wales. The site publishes editorial guides about PC games, system requirements, and the gaming PC hardware needed to run them, aimed at a UK audience.
These terms govern your use of the site. By reading, linking to, or otherwise using the site you accept them.
2. Editorial methodology
Our methodology — where our data comes from, how often we update it, and how we approach hardware recommendations — is published in full at /methodology/ and forms part of these terms.
Game data (titles, descriptions, release dates, cover art, system requirements, pricing) is sourced from public APIs operated by IGDB, Steam, and RAWG. We re-verify spec data periodically; the "verified" date on each game page shows when we last checked.
3. Hardware recommendations are informational
Our gaming PC recommendations — including specific component picks, tier-by-tier builds, and estimated prices — are editorial opinion. They are not a warranty that a given configuration will achieve a given performance level in a given game.
Game performance varies with driver versions, game patches, settings, background processes, and hardware revision. We do our best to keep recommendations current but you should treat them as informed suggestions, not guarantees.
Before buying, we recommend cross-referencing at least one independent source (a recent YouTube benchmark, a Reddit thread for the specific game) and reading the latest reviews of any specific build or component.
4. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click them and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These programmes include Amazon Associates UK, Awin (which covers Scan Computers, Overclockers UK, and others), and direct relationships with selected retailers.
We also link to Create PCs, a UK custom PC builder operated by the same team as this site. Links to Create PCs include UTM parameters so we can measure referrals. When we recommend a Create PCs build, we do so because we believe it's appropriate for the game in question — never because of commission, which on our own builds is internal accounting only.
Where a self-build or a competitor's build would be a better answer at a given budget, we say so. If you spot somewhere we don't and you think should, please tell us.
5. Intellectual property
Editorial copy on this site (game descriptions in our voice, hardware recommendations, buyer's guides, articles) is © Supra Digital and is published under all rights reserved. Don't republish or scrape it.
Game cover art, screenshots, and game titles belong to their respective developers and publishers. They appear here under fair use for the purpose of identifying the games we cover editorially. If you're a rights holder and you'd like a specific image removed, email [email protected] and we'll remove it within 48 hours.
Game metadata (release dates, genres, platforms, raw system requirement text) is sourced from IGDB and Steam under their public API terms; attribution is published in the footer of every page.
6. Limitation of liability
We provide this site on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by English law, Supra Digital is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your reliance on information on this site — including but not limited to hardware purchases that don't meet your expectations, games that don't perform as predicted, or technical issues with linked third-party sites.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted in the relevant article or page if they affect content already published.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. Any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Contact
